Team 469, Las guerillas...they're still the banana people as far as i know...

WOO! Their pit was right next to my old team's at nats. I think they thought we were a little wierd. They had a really cool stuffed Gorrilla in their pit. But yeah that's them.

My name is Gail Alpert and I am the coordinator for the banana team. Las Guerrillas is our formal name but we play up the gorilla theme each year by giving out bananas.

We will be giving them out again this year. We think everyone gets a kick out of them, including us!

We actually obtain the bananas through a catalog, then make them into the necklaces on our own... its been something we've done for the past few years, and plan on continueing.... was there something specific about them you wanted to know????

I've got two of those bananas.
One hangs from my Voyager rearview mirror. I get a lot of comments about it and it starts me talking about FIRST.
The other is in the house somewhere :)

perhaps they are strategic bananas. mike soukup on our team hates bananas. how can you hate bananas? everyone has their kryptonite i suppose.

Yeah Mike's alergic to chocolate too. So he kinda hates that too. I don't get how you can hate any food really. Sure you may not like it but don't hate.
