Are we ready for the 2001 WEB HUG?

First what is the "Web Hug"?

This is the event at the Nationals where all the persons that seem to live on these forum's get a chance to see each other face to face.

We have such a great community of FIRST people that it is quite exciting to share a few moments and a "Hug" to start the competition.

We will meet on Thursday 12:00 at the grassy knoll. This is located on that small strip of land with the trees outside the tent on the way from the competition to the entrance of Epcot.

I will be passing out reminder flyers to all pits on Thursday morning.

Take a few min. out of the busy activity and make this event one to remember.

Please pass the word on to all the great persons that make this forum so helpful to teams.

I remember seeing pictures of the web hug in the gallery, but not from last year's web hug.

Can someone bring a camera this time and take a few pictures of the web hug? I can't wait to see how many people show up at the web hug this year...

So many new faces, so many new messages, so many new things to learn...

After talking behind the computer all the time, it should be interesting meeting these people face to face, no matter how you think they looks like from their profile.

It's going to be one big hug this year.

Amazing how this forum bring the people together...

The timing of this event may run into problems with practice matches, because according to FIRST's site the practice rounds start at 11:30 so that means some people wouldn't be able to make it to the WebHug because they had a practice match, but if the time could be moved to 11:00 it would work perfectly....

Just My Thoughts....

Wait for me!!! Ugh...I'm going to try to book it double time to Epcot for this, but my bus doesn't even arrive in Orlando until 11:30 am that day. :o( Well, at the very least I'll spend the day tracking people down even if I miss the hug :o)

Several ( many) have requested to change the time. Unless otherwise convinced it will be at 11:00 same place same great people.
