Could you make your question a little clearer? Are you asking the demensions of the support bar that devides the alliances?

I'm with Adam on this one. What are you talking about?

I don't remember any sort of "wood plank" around the player stations, this year.

Can you use any of the pictures of the field (like this (http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/pictures.php?s=&action=single&picid=2913&direction=DESC&sort=views&perrow=5&trows=5&quiet=verbose), or even the official game description (http://www2.usfirst.org/2002comp/game.pdf) for last season, for instance, to tell us what you want to know?

I believe he's talking about the ledge that the driver would place the robot controls on. But then again, I'm not sure about that either.

He means the depth of the shelf. I don't remember seeing that in the FIRST drawings, but I'll take another look. Does anyone remember offhand?

I found this description in "The Game" section of the 2002 Competition manual:There is a 1-foot by 12-foot shelf made of 3/16-inch Aluminum Diamond Plate, three feet off the carpeted floor where the robot control equipment may be placed.
So the answer is that the shelf is 12" deep.
