Returning Champions 121 will be there. Will have to say that MD is one of the best summer comps, besides Battlecry. Is there any chance in getting even carpet this year? Lol.

T190 is hoping to attend again this year. We had a good time last year.
We'll see. We'd love to go again (and we agree w/ 121, an even carpet would be nice.. we kept taking pieces with us last year)

Team 422 is bringing on the 'Funk...
The Functional Decoration you knew from previous competitions was destroyed by a forklift. Up from his ashes rises the Phoenix, however, which will be ready for competition :)

I have been working on the team leaders to get The Miracle Workerz and GerioniMOE to attend. We couldnt make it last year because we had to exhibit at the DuPont 200th Anniversary picnic at the same time. The picnic was really fun, especially the free food and the inflatable obstacle course races:).
Since there is no 201st Anniversary celebration, so we should be able to attend MD State Fair this year. I just got to get the people to come for the the week. Unfortunatly, I have to move into my new dorm room on that Sunday:(. We definitely ow it to Mike Wade to help make his competition a success since he was instrumental in making the Duel on the Delaware a success last year. I'll try to get something final at the meeting tomorrow.

As the new president of team 449 The Blair Robot Project, I'm trying to get our team there. Or robot didn't really work until competition was over at houston, so we'd like to try it out for real. The only problem is that we have ~$2.50 in the bank, so we'll have to do some quick fund raising.

Although Wetzel, if there are puddles, we can always break out 116's patented heat-gun-to-the-ground approach... let's try to all wear rubber soled shoes!

NASA/MD Fair is a great competition.. and we had fun last year... it's really tough though.. and only the best will endure. 3 days of continuos rounds will really put the wear and tear on a machine.

I remember the heat gun~ Our team had to move our pit because of the puddles. Maybe the coming year if there's puddles again, we can all chip in a bring a shop vac~
