Anyone interested in astronomy? I think it's great. It's just so...amazing. I'd really consider being an astronomer.
Anyway, my grampa sent me this slideshow of hubble images. And I thought I'd share it...There's some really incredible images in it...

If you like that, you should also check out the Astronomy Picture Of The Day (http://antwrp.gsfc.nasa.gov/apod/astropix.html) website. They post a new astronomy-related image every day (and you can waste hours and hours just browsing throught the past image archives!).

I've always found it pretty interesting too, but I've always found space craft and rovers a little more interesting. A few weeks ago I was looking for pictures of astronomy stuff and came across this guys amazing gallery.
If you search http://www.pbase.com for "astronomy" you can find some interesting pictures.
About a week ago I found this guys gallery. He's got one sweet telescope in his backyard and uses a webcam to capture his images from it!!

It's a program called Celestia. It's prettymuch a 3D simulator of the universe. While it's not the best at seeing where things are from Earth's point of view (although I have a couple of programs that do. PM me if you want them), the fact that you can go from planet to planet, sun to sun, visit Haley's Comet, and five seconds later hit Proxima makes this program well worth at least a try. There are even extras you can download (just Google it) to add whatever may be missing (I found a place with the entire Messier Catalog to add on). One word of warning, don't run Celestia with anything else going in the background. It's a resourse hog. But a fun one at that.
