i was just wondering if any of the team were using the gyro chip, i hadnt seen any designs yet with it

Some of the engineers on our team talked to me (programmer) about using a gyro to be able to tell (and compensate) if another robot was trying to pick us up and carry us to their endzone. I said I didn't think that it was a very worthwhile venture, and we quickly all agreed.

We are using a gyro in our drivetrain alogrithim. Works great. Helps our driver out a lot.

Interesting. What do you have it doing, and how does it help?
