Congratulations Mike! Can anyone ever measure the value of a mentor spending 11 years of his life being involved in this program?! Priceless! I am sure you have impacted many, many lives in ways you will never know. Great Job Mike!

Congratulations Mike. This honor was long overdue. You posts have meant a lot to me since I am the sole programmer on my team. I hope to meet you sometime in the future.

Jeez, Mr. Betts...I leave for vacation for two weeks, and you go winning UFH on me :D . Congratulations on the award, and thanks for helping mentor 177 for all these years (and hopefully many more!). I don't think the team would be quite the same without you.

Congratulations Mr. Betts! You are very deserving of this award.
I still remember when I was a junior in high school who joined this robotics program. A man named Mr. Betts stood up in front of me and explained the community of first. I said something along the likes of
'There is a chat forum online that I all want you to take a look at and I would suggest looking back every so often. There are many very smart people who are willing to share their knowledge. The only thing I ask is that you be professional in your posts as you are representative of our team'
Those obviously were not his exact words, but the point is that Mr. Betts is was of those very smart extremely helpful people who I was able to work with and learn from and not just chat with online. He always put 110% into this program and it is great to see him being rewarded for it.
Congrats!

Mike,
I can't believe I didn't see this sooner!
You're more than deserving with all you've done for our team since 95. Let's look forward to a good year and hoping that we have a future UFH in one of our new mentors as well.
Pete
