Every time I attempt to create a new example project in Windriver (2010 from the new DVDs, fresh install on a system that has never had it installed before), I get this error. As far as I know, I followed all the steps in the manuals and installed all the necessary updates, and yet I still get this error every time I attempt to create a project.

Help?

Looks like it is choking on the space in a path component (c:\Documents and Settings is stopping at Documents).

Did you install Windriver to a location other than the default c:\WindRiver?
Is your workspace someplace other than the default of c:\WindRiver\workspace?

If so, what happens if you try moving one or the other to the default location?

Everything is defaulted. The install directory is C:\Windriver, and the workspace is C:\Windriver\Workspace (notice the capitalized W's). Last year I installed all of this the same way in a virtual machine on my Mac OS X partition and it worked fine, so I'm not sure what the deal is.

Can anyone offer any advice? I can't get started programming until this issue is fixed.

Are you running on a mac now? is this with Parallels or VMWare?

No, this error is popping up under Windows XP while running natively on a separate partition.

Aaron -

Have you been able to get this working?
