In order to proceed, you must agree with the following rules:

Registration to this forum is free! We do insist that you abide by the rules and policies detailed below. If you agree to the terms, please press the Agree button at the end of the page.

Although the administrators and moderators of ChiefDelphi Forums will attempt to keep all objectionable messages off this forum, it is impossible for us to review all messages. All messages express the views of the author, and neither the owners of ChiefDelphi Forums, the FIRST Organization or Jelsoft Enterprises Limited (developers of vBulletin) will be held responsible for the content of any message.

The ideas and information expressed on the ChiefDelphi Forums may or may not necessarily be the official view of ChiefDelphi or the FIRST Organization.

The information collected during the registration process for the ChiefDelphi Forums is used to contact members in the event of a Forum rule violation. It can also be used to prevent banned users from re-registering under a different username. The email address will only be seen by moderators and administrators if the "Hide Email Address?" option is set to yes.

Every forum user's IP address is logged whenever they post in the ChiefDelphi Forums. This information is used if it becomes necessary to ban a user. The IP address can only be seen by administrators and moderators.

ChiefDelphi.com reserves the right to remove a post which does not relate to the topic being discussed in the forum. In addition, ChiefDelphi reserves the right to reorganize discussion forums in order to best serve the majority of our members. (ie: topics may, at a moderators discretion, be relocated to a more appropriate discussion forum, or deleted entirely). This also applies to any media uploaded via CD-Media, items in CD-Swap, or any other content on ChiefDelphi.com

ChiefDelphi also reserves the right to prohibit or delete discussions that are thought to violate applicable law, are NOT robotics related, or that may be harmful to other members. Please remember, you are representing not only yourself, but your team and its sponsors, as well as what FIRST stands for. Please try to practice gracious professionalism at all times.

By clicking the Agree button, you warrant that you will not post any messages that are obscene, vulgar, sexually-orientated, racist, hateful, threatening, or otherwise in violation of any laws or school rules. THIS INCLUDES THE DISCUSSION OF WAREZ, FILE-SHARING PROGRAMS, CRACKING, AND ANY OTHER WAY OF STEALING SOFTWARE OR ANY OTHER COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL. You also agree not to post the same message in multiple forums, or use the forums as a real-time chat, continuing a 2-3 person conversation on for numerous posts in a short period of time.

Creating multiple accounts for a single person is not allowed.

'Bump' posts, or anything similar, are not allowed and will be deleted without notice.

Posting links to Outwar, Kings of Chaos, and other link/referral based games or pyramid/referral sites is not allowed. This also applies to any Free Network sites (freeipods, freeflatscreens, etc.)

The AKA field should contain your real name, if you want. If your username is your real name, then you can put your online screen name / nickname there. If both are covered in some other part of your profile, either leave the AKA field blank or feel free to have some fun & give yourself a creative or funny AKA title.

Any attempt to bypass the automatic censorship of curse words and/or vulgarity will not be tolerated and will be edited or deleted by a moderator. This also includes the use of vulgarities in abbreviations or acronyms. After multiple offenses, disciplinary action may be taken in the form of a temporary/permanent ban from the site.

All rules detailed here apply to signatures, as well. Signatures should not be larger than 200px tall (all images, text, etc.). For reference, this is 200px. Due to abuse and a large amount of complaints, politically oriented content should not be placed in your signature. The ChiefDelphi.com administrators may edit your signature at any time, without warning or notification, to remove any content which breaks these rules.

The owners of the ChiefDelphi Forums have the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

Please only upload images to CD-Media once. As stated above, images and any other media may be removed or edited by the administrators.

The Who-Am-I tag is provided to give people an idea of what you look like. Images with this tag should be photographs of you, preferably showing your face. Drawings, team logos, pictures of robots, or anything else that isn't an image identifying you will be erased by an image moderator.

The CD-Media photo area is provided to showcase FIRST and FIRST-related events. While we would like to host every picture imaginable, due to space and bandwidth restrictions, we ask that you refrain from uploading a large amount of similar images or those where the general public may not understand or care to view. If you have an abnormal amount of pictures from an event, please try to pick a few of the overall best pictures and upload those.

ChiefDelphi also has the right to remove your membership and access to the site at any time, with or without warning, should you violate these guidelines.

ChiefDelphi reserves the right to modify these rules as needed, without notice (although it is usually given). Check these rules often for updates and changes.
