Smile [OCCRA]: Help needed in Simulation

I'm in my Final semester of my Engineering in Biomedical.
I'm supposed to do Simulation model of a DC Motor which is controlled by a Trackball/Joystick..
Can any one guide me..
I'm new to this Simulation stuff. Can i go with Labview or Matlab?


Kindly Help me guys...

Re: [OCCRA]: Help needed in Simulation

Do you want your end product to be an animation (a vid showing how it works), or an actual simulation (push button, make stuff go)?

If you wan't the latter (simulation), I would try Labview first. It's pretty easy to do something visual. Then again, I haven't done much with Labview, so I'm not sure if it's the best way to go.
