Midwest Regional in the News

http://chicagotonight.wttw.com/2012/...umbling-robots

This was featured on PBS earlier this evening. It was cool seeing our team highlighted throughout, as well as the rookie team that was interviewed. Overall, this was a great spot for the promotion of FRC and I figured I'd share it with you guys.

At about 3:13, you'll actually see my teammate Mike and I (I'm the one behind him) working with one of the rookie teams. Pretty cool.

Re: Midwest Regional in the News

Awesome, I've been looking for coverage on the Midwest regional. This was also how I wish more news stations would cover the events, it really displays the point of FIRST beyond the March Madness of Robotics like its been called by every other news station.

Re: Midwest Regional in the News

This is a great piece on FIRST in general. The reporter was enthralled to talk to students and mentors. It is like my wife says..."It like Cirque de Soleil, you can try and describe what you will see, but you still can't really express what the competition is like. Then when someone comes to an event, they can't believe what they are seeing."
