No pit map, even for volunteers.?!?! Good luck setting things up and better luck finding anyone this weekend.

No worries. No pit size listed, though. (Ok, maybe some worries)

Re: Pit size

Something we noticed is that for some reason our pit was an extra 2 feet wide. We also noticed this in the team across from us. This was where ours was marked off, and we measured the pits next to us and they were both the standard 10 feet wide.

You will be asked to give that back next year

We will. But we didn't notice until midday Thursday, and it would have been too much work for everyone around us to get rid of our extra 2 feet because we were right in the middle.

Re: Pit size

Well, our pit was "10x10", but the curtains took away from that. We had to take the curtain rod out of the pole in the back and zip tie it to out pit structure. Good thing we were on a corner.

Our crew chief called it the best looking pit in the place.

You mean the StL airport was your fault, Don? My wife was there, trying to get home when that tornado hit. She ended up taking a bus to get to a train to get a taxi to get to the airport in Chicago to fly to Buffalo, so I could drive an hour each way to bring her home to Rochester a day and half late. I've always been happy when she comes home, but never as much as that day.
