Thumbs up Thank you Martians

Teams #494 and #70 from Goodrich, MI have bailed out team #1213 by fronting them the money to make today's registration. Thanks to Pat and Jay and all Martians for your assistance.

The two schools, Goodrich and Groves, will be working together to raffle off an Xbox 360 and a flat panel TV. We went into the elims a couple of times in '05 partnered with the Martians and are looking forward to working with them in '06 off the field as well as on.

Thanks again Goodrich.

Re: Thank you Martians

Now THAT's the way FIRST is supposed to work . In this time of financial hardship for many of our sponsors it's nice to have good friends that can help you over a hump. Congrats on stayin' alive for another year (I know we struggle every year ...) and way to go Martians!

Couldnt have said it better!

From my point of view the martions seem to be a VERY gererous team, last year they took our cart down to atlanta (i almost spelled that with an "s" wouldnt that'uv been funny) for us since we were unable to transport it ourselves.

Since i live in Ortonville Mi. i am honored to live so close to a team that is so kind and generous.

i second Stu when i say "Way to go Martians!"

Now that is FIRST in its finest hour. Keeping other team's afloat is definitely something to proud of. Good luck with your raffle!

Re: Thank you Martians

Indeed, it's always good to see teams helping other teams. Changing the culture and all that gets kinda hard when you can't keep a team going in one place.

Have you hugged a Martian today? (Dave, don't answer that.)

Re: Thank you Martians

This definitely shouldn't go unrecognized.

The Martians are truly a class act. I can't give enough kudos.

Re: Thank you Martians

I have always been fond of the Martians. They are reliable on the field and very helpful otherwise. Way to go.
