Re: You know when the season is over....

You know the season (and practically your part-time high school career) is over when you first were thinking about graduation, and then pondering what you are going to do with those two years at community college... struggling to make time to leave the team some notes on what to do to make the team better.

I tell you this much: it sort of sucks to be a graduated senior from a robotics team that you had so much fun with over 4 years, and saw grow from your freshman year. *tear*

Otherwise, I must say, welcome to the 2007-2008 FLL, FVC, and FRC season folks. It's game time!

When you get home and there is still enough daylight to mow the yard.

You are watching the 5 PM news instead of the 10 PM news while eating dinner.

You trip over your toolbox while walking though the garage.

It is the saddest thing of all to know that I will be leaving and not coming back to Quixilver for a very, very long time. Oh, of course I'll visit, but it is a game that I need to let go and move on.

FIRST has given thousands of young people (like me) a head start in life because it teaches honesty, integrity, and an appreciation of other people's hard work.

FIRST tricks you into using your brain on a regular basis.

Re: You know when the season is over....

Alright, after reading the thread it is apparent that building 19 changed the image from the ad that was up on that site does any one have it saved so it could be uploaded?

Also were the tubes available at all locations, alot of times when they get smaller amounts of things they cant be found every where. Well seeing that their is a building 19 about 3 blocks from my house I should probably check either way.

It's not easy for me to say i'm on the "off season". I can't force myself to say it because my mind is still in the "on season" and unless I lose my memory or die, I really don't see any way for it to change. Basically, First succeeded.
