Re: 10x10x10 @ 30lbs?

It's not anything to do with bowling balls. Or balls of any sort for that matter. Balls in any form only occur in a game every other year (don't believe me? Look it up i'm right). ex: 2008's track balls, 2006's nerf balls, 2004's kickballs, 2002's soccer balls, 2000's plastic balls, 1998's rubber balls, 1996's rubber balls, 1994's soccer balls, 1992's tennis balls, and i couldn't find 1990's game. But i don't know i may be wrong.

2000, 2001, and 2002 were all balls.

Re: 10x10x10 @ 30lbs?

It's hilarious to watch this conversation about a box which probably has a 95% chance of being robot batteries turn into all kinds of bowling ball conspiracies.

There was no game in 1990. While FIRST (actually US FIRST) was founded in 1989, the 1992 game "Maize Craze" was the first competition.

Also, there were balls in the 1993, 1995, and 2001 games too.

May I ask where are the battery chargers? Batteries will be no good without a charger.

Re: 10x10x10 @ 30lbs?

I think the 10x10x10 box is the game peice....we are going to use blocks of 10x10x10 material(s)

Re: 10x10x10 @ 30lbs?

Maybe it's a mandatory burden each robot must bear? Dave, are you there?

A 1000 cubic inch, 30 pound burden might make a very interesting design constraint. Especially if it had to be used on the robot without any modification, exactly as received in the KoP.

Re: 10x10x10 @ 30lbs?

I think the 10x10x10 box must be in millimeters. It contains a small amount of Governmentium, the densest material known to man. It is also the most useless material known to man. Being useless, its presence on your robot is required.
