Bridgewater-Raritan Battle Royale (BR-Squared)

After my first time at BR-Squared, I want to thank the host team, Team 303, and all of the volunteers for doing such a great job yesterday. Even with all of the challenges, they made everything work really well.

I especially want to thank the FTA, Conor Ryan, for his patience with our practice bot's communication issues and his determination to make sure that we were able to compete. The team and I really appreciated it!

Now, if he'd just forget me showing him a radio with two clearly smashed ports (which I didn't notice ) and asking for it to be re-configured so we could communicate with the bot again, that would be wonderful.

Thanks again to everyone who made BR-Squared such fun!

Re: Bridgewater-Raritan Battle Royale (BR-Squared)

Great job everyone involved, especially those at 303. Big shoutout to Paul Kloberg, the man with the idea, and Sarah Nasson, the lady that made everything work, especially from the score table perspective. It ain't easy running an off season and everyone involved made it much easier than it could have been.

I had a lot of fun at the hottest off season ever (pun intended). Mandatory Mentor/Alumni matches in the middle of the day to shake up the standings were the most entertaining things I have seen/participated in at an off season in awhile. 2v2 matches were a blast (thanks for the idea of using FTC's match scheduling algo Howard!). Huge thank you to everyone that was there for all of setup and breakdown!

Thanks for the kind words, if only all robot issues were as easy to fix as that. On a similar FTA note, thanks to 369 for being very patient with their issues while we worked on their radios.

Team 1796 had a great time at their first ever BR^2 off season. It was run very well and you guys worked in some interesting twists to the game.

We had a great time making it to finals and playing against 25,"1639", and 869! Congrats guys.
We definitely hope to make it back next year

Re: Bridgewater-Raritan Battle Royale (BR-Squared)

We all had a really great time. I especially enjoyed the mentor matches! I think everyone there really enjoyed watching their mentors take the sticks. All the volunteers and organizers did a great job making it a fun event, especially FTAs, scorers, etc. for making it work with a short list of teams.

Re: Bridgewater-Raritan Battle Royale (BR-Squared)

I, on behalf of Team 369 would like to thank Team 1403 for letting us borrow their spare bridge. I would also like to thank the FTA for doing all they could and delaying the matches to help resolve the bridge issue we were having with the 2012 bridge. Though a little sad we missed a few matches because of communication issues we were happy that thanks to the support from both Teams and FTA we were able to play. And finally I would like to thank The Tribe Team 224 and our other alliance partners for their support and a great matches.
