Where are the starting positions?

The robots will start in the corners; your alliance will be in diagonally opposite corners with the robot that's on defense closest to your alliance's driver station. Sorry that these locations were left off the fieldlayout drawing.

Does this mean that there are set offense/defense positions? If so, who decides which team starts in which corner? Do we decide as an alliance, or do we get assigned a starting spot like we get assigned a color?

You will be assigned to an alliance. Where each team places their robot is decided by the alliance.
