NEW site dedicated to the UTC New England Regional!

Posted by Eric Fleming at 2/21/2001 12:03 PM EST

Other on team #178, Former 2nd Law Enforcer, from Syracuse University and United Technologies Corporation.

Hello all,

I am proud to announce the debut of a web site dedicated to the UTC New England Regional. You may find it by directing your browser to http://www.utc.com/commun/first/

As a former FIRST participant still infected with FIRST in my daily life, I am now an intern in the communications department at UTC and student at Syracuse University. With the collaboration of a great team of FIRST enthusiasts, we have developed this site in order to make information more accessible to teams that will be attending the event.

Please understand that this is new for us and we are making every effort to provide as much unique information as possible. Updates to the site will be frequent, so bookmark the site and keep checking.

Teams who are to attend the regional may submit a URL that will be linked with their team name listing.

We would also like to make a section dedicated to finding out how FIRST has impacted students and other participants post-involvement. If you have any stories, please send them to us!

Most importantly, this site will be updated during the event, March 1-3, so that those who cannot attend can still catch a glimpse of the action.

Please send suggestions and/or comments to fleminea@corphq.utc.com

Thank you very much.

....to see a rather scary picture of Nick. To quote Dan (Skitzo), who has posted here before: "He looks like he's glowing".

Anyway, very well done site. You can tell it was made by FIRST-ers.
