Board of education
In the pdf format of "What is a microcontroller",
do you have to have a Board of education or can you have something else? |

I suppose you could do it with something else, but you'd have to convert all the wiring diagrams, etc. Plus, the BOE makes life simple by providing an actual RS-232 port whereas the regular Stamp just has a pin on the IC that you have to connect to.
If you're wondering about doing it with the RC/EduRC, it's probably not going to work as there is no way to connect things to the individual pins of the Stamp. |
