Bad 40-Amp Breakers...

There are some bad 40-amp breakers we found. We literally blew up 2 SC (the high-temp plastic melted and some of the transistors were cracked). We asked the IFI guy at the AZ regional and he was astounded that the SC's were melted because they are rated to a max of 140 amps. So watch out for bad 40 amp brekers...sometimes they don't open the circuits.

I also heard some other teams found that the 40 amp breakers were opening at 28 amps so that is another problem.

Just to continue my rant.....Does anyone find that the drill motor's brushes break really really really easy? We had to replace 3 or 4 motors due to brush breakage.

Ok, i have calmed down now.....
