Mucho congratulations to Rob.
You're one of the most deserving people I know of, for an honor such as this. Keep up the great work, sir. |

I remember when I first began my venture into programming for my team Rob was there to help me not only set up the program and showed me how to run it, but also pointed me in the right direction on learning to program. I would still be lost if it wasn't for his kind guidance.
Thanks for the help Rob, you deserve this! |

Programming is not all that he does either. He's helped set me straight on more than a couple mechanical things. Thanks man!

I met Rob this year when I started trying to do the autonomous workshops at UCF and working on making sample codes for teams to use as guides, and he was the first one to walk over and say "What can I do?" Then later when I had my own problems, he came right over and helped out. At UCF, overnight they left the AC on and it rained, sucking water right into Cogsquad's robot since they were in the corner. Rob and his teammates set right to work and performed some miracles, and he can work under the stress and keep thinking strategically, even if a chunk of their robot is taken off during a match
I saw many teams using his RoboEmu software to test out their code, while the pit crew worked on the robot, then they'd be ready to go when the pit crew was ready, without ever needing to use the robot, just to tweak some numbers. You deserve this Rob, excellent job! |

Wow, I can't think of anyone better to win this award. All his programming expertise has been a help to so many people. RoboEmu is the best thing in the world too (for robot programming).
Congrats Rob, Thanks for everything |

I believe this really does deserve to go to Rob.
When I was having problems connecting to the RS-232 port for my FIRST Editor, he wouldn't mind if I ask a slew of questions really. He's also a cool guy all-around. His programming skills are those second-to-none for FIRST IMHO. RoboEmu helped team 5 during our debugging stage before we shipped the robot (it helped way more than many cank think). RoboGUI is also an essential part of team 5 really. It really helped period. To me, he is one-of-a-kind (all of us are really though ). I wish him the best in his college years, and whatever he makes of himself. He deserves all the accomplishments that he gets. |

Congrats to Rob. This recognition is well deserved. His RoboEmu was invaluable for testing our code last year. I also think Rob should be thanked for how quickly he posts concise answers to people questions. When ever I see one his posts I always stop to read it and usually learn something new. I just hope he comes out with a new RoboEmu if the change the controllers.

Thanks everybody! Your thanks and appreciation makes everything all worthwhile, and as long as Robo* continue to be useful, I'll continue trying to keep them reasonably up to date.
Thanks again to everybody! I'm truly honored to be selected as an UFH. -Rob |
