Recruiting Partners for Brazillian Teams
There are several new teams in Brazil for the 2005 FIRST season. Guilherme Balbinot (former member and mentor of 1156) will be working with all Brazillian teams and is interested in facilitating International Partners for those teams.
FIRST International Partners intent is to help teams outside of the US with purchases of materials, game pieces (balls, plastic tubs, etc.), travel and other logistics that can be difficult for teams outside of the continental US. The primary goal is to build friendships between the teams - if there is also a need for mentoring then that is an added bonus.
If your team is interested, please send me a PM with your name and contact information for your team leaders.
Many of the Brazillian teams will be going to the Houston Regional - teams that will be there would be especially good partners.
