Robot Ruckus 2006

From the desk of Dan Welsh:

FIRST Teams, reminder:

8th Annual ROBOT RUCKUS

Freedom High School, Orlando, FL

Feb 18, 2006
8:30 AM

This is our annual informal 'scrimmage' event for us to test our robots before shipping them to FIRST. You will have a chance to practice on a complete full-scale playing field, and also to talk to other teams and get ideas and help on trouble-shooting your machine.

Please register so we can make sure to have plenty of pit space and a play-list set up for the event. We will start with free practice in the AM, and then play matches in the afternoon. Match play will be 'low-contact' to let us warm up for the Competitions, without too much strain on our machines.

Agenda:

Doors open: 8:30 AM.
Practice on the field: 9 AM to Noon.
Game Play: Matches from Noon to 3 PM.

Snacks and Lunch will be available from Freedom High School's concession stand.

Registration and Fee:
There is a nominal $25 per Team fee, to cover expenses at the school (custodial, etc). We appreciate your support.
Please RSVP to dan.welsh@disney.com with copy to Gordon Andrews at andrewg@ocps.net
Please pay the $25 per Team at the door.
You will recieve your Door Prizes tickets at the door, also.

Location:
Freedom HIgh School
2500 Taft-Vineland Road
Orlando, FL. 32837
