Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

- When you refer to your shop as home.

- When Atlanta stops being a city

- When conversations frequently start with "Dude... robots..."

- When you're excited about staying at school for 8+ hours a day.

What are you talking about? If The Bible is "book" in Greek, then The Book (of Rules) is just "book" in English! Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

...you are disappointed about having an early dismissal because it means that you won't have a robotics meeting.

EDIT: The weather got better so we could go!!!!

when you zip-tie your hair out of your face because it takes too much time to go back to the classroom for a hair tie.

when PVC dust all over your clothes doesn't cause your mom to ask any questions.

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

-When you see the time is 6:48, and you immediately think that team 648 is QC Elite, and that last year they had orange bumpers just like our bot. Which actually made you cheer for the wrong team once. (Hey, I was looking through the rack.... )

-When you tell your brother this and he looks at you cross-eyed.

-Whenever you see times like 8:32 and 10:24 on the clock you immediately think of bolts.

-When you find a 3/16 pop rivet and an 8-32 jam nut in your pocket from last season. (Apparently I don't wear that sweatshirt much.)

-When you have your team hat that was autographed by Dean Kamen hanging on your bedpost, so can you see it every night before bed.

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

-When you start using tools for other than the intended purpose.
-When you suddenly slip C or Binary into you r conversations.
-When you complain that there aren't enough heat shrink for your text books.
-When you memorized every team/every person/every win in the history of FIRST.
-When you start making theme songs for FIRST.
-When you start trying to fix things at school (I have) and you start asking "Does anyone have any Duct tape/a monkey wrench?" or "Where's the source code for this?"

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

When you have a five day weekend...and four and a half are spent in the lab...

When you get a snow day... and procede to call all the mentors to see if you can get into the lab early...

When you look at an electronics board and say "dang, thats a sexy beast"

When you listen to fourty minute techno songs... after about four hours of daft punk...
