Easy way to deal with that: The edit button (lower right of the post). Check "Delete message" once the editing window opens. A new sub-window opens; check "Delete message" (as opposed to "Do not delete message.").

Oh, and the edit button can also keep you from double-posting.

Unofficial: Post to CD-->CD views and comments, sometimes using The Manual and interpreting it-->Somebody goes the Official route -->Answer gets posted on CD eventually, as a quote from Q&A.

Which one takes longer for an official ruling? Therefore, which one makes more sense to use?

...When you're purchasing $4 Saitek controllers off a wootoff because you want to find out if they work with the new control system. (not me, unfortunatly, i dont have $4).

...When you recognize FIRST's calendar of important dates as a list of what-should-be National Holidays.

- When you could be doing your math homework(due at (9:30am) since you didn't do it last night and instead you are on CD posting.

-When you told the teacher you had something you could do since you couldn't get on to the Foresight testing site in English class and even though you know she didn't mean this type of something you go on anyway.

...When someone on the team mentions that we should buy a team video camera and your dumbstruck why nobody has thought of that before, It makes so much sense.

...When you come up with an idea about a pop club so that you can save money from not spending it on schools machines that now have nonreal pop(diet and zero ). Plus it makes money for the team.

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

-Your homework problems fall on pages 108-111. Instead of writing those numbers on your paper, you write "108-Wildstang," and wonder if your teacher will notice.

-Also, today's homework problems are #1-33. "Juggernauts-Killer Bees", anyone?

-When doing an ABCs activity on a forum that you're a part of...this is what happens:
A is for Atlas, ASNI, Andy Baker
B is for bumper, Balzac, Billfred
C is for Charlotte, Chief Delphi, CAD
D is for Delphi E.L.I.T.E., Dipswitch, DeWalt
E is for Einstein, Exploding Bacon, engineer
F is for FIRST, FRC, FLL
G is for Gearheads, GAME, GHX
H is for heart, "How the **** did you do that?", H.O.T
I is for IRI, IFI, "I DIDN'T DO IT!"
J is for JVN, Juggernauts, JaneYoung
K is for Kamen, Koko Ed, Kramarczyk
L is for love, lathe, Lavery
M is for Mallory, Mill, MORT
N is for nuts, newbies, NEMO
O is for Overdrive, open-hole, overweight (robot)
P is for PWM, Programming, Paul Copioli
Q is for question, quality, quantity
R is for ROBOT, RC, RUSH
S is for Safety (Glasses), Susie Q, SegWay
T is for TechnoCats, Thunderchickens, TTT
U is for underweight robot, uh-oh, UPS
V is for vise-grip, Viking Robotics, valuable
W is for website, Woodie Flowers, William Leverette
X is for x-acto knife, xanthrochroid, X-Cats
Y is for yellow, Yin-Yang, Ypsilanti
Z is for zucchero, zipties, Zondag

(Charlotte, Atlas, and Balzac are all 1189 robots. Mallory is our Build group leader. Zucchero is Italian for 'sugar,' which we survive on during build season)

-Mark Kramarczyk links that post as his favorite when the list is posted on the team forums

-While doing chemistry homework, you remember that Cd is the symbol for Cadmium because Cd=Chief Delphi and CD=Robotics=CAD(mium)

Re: You know you've overdosed on FIRST when...

when you are in advisory and your teacher partners you up with a freshmen and then makes you play a game where you have to draw a number of shapes, and then your partner has to draw a shape, and then you have to dictate what you have drawn to your partner, and then you start explaining how to draw the first logo. (lol for some reason my freshmen drew the logo going in like a diagonal direction.)
