Loctite Problems

We found that the plastic spacers do not like Loctite. The Loctite was eating up the spacers and they would crumble apart and make one mess to clean up. Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Loctite Problems

Yes, plastic and Loctite are generally enemies of each other. The Loctite package says that, too. There is a type of loctite that is plastic-compatible, but I ahve never tried it.

Re: Loctite Problems

We've used it with plastic in the past with success, just not sure why this time it didn't work. Who reads packages at 4 in the morning??
