2007 FRC Sensor Manual available.

FIRST has posted the 2007 FRC Sensor Manual. This quick 3 page packet goes over three sensors [Gear Tooth, Accelerometer and Yaw Rate Gyro] available to teams through the KOP.

1: You're responding to a year-old post. You might want to watch out for that next time.

2: The information you seek is in the document mentioned in the first post. Though it is for last year's sensors, it answers your question, as this year's similar sensors provide the same function.

3: They are not mandatory.
