MS Vista/EasyC & EasyC Pro

Are there any known compatibility issues using EasyC or EasyC Pro with windows Vista? I just acquired a new notebook computer which has Vista and I do not want to try and transfer the program if it will not run properly.

Also, other than just buying a copy of EasyC Pro, is there an upgrade program available from EasyC to EasyC Pro?

Re: MS Vista/EasyC & EasyC Pro

Hi Robert:
As of right now, our software is not approved for use in Windows Vista. We are still performing testing on it and hope for it to be fully capable in a future release.

Some of our customers have had luck with changing the compatibility settings for the executable file. The settings need to be Windows XP (service pack 2), as well as to run the program as an administrator. This suggestion is to be used at your own risk because we are not complete with our testing in Vista and it is not on our list of recommended operating systems.

As for upgrading from V2 to PRO, that cost would be $195 (part number 63-2060-3001). However, since you are part of an FRC team, we offer that same upgrade for $99 (part number 63-2060-3002). Please make sure to mention your team number when ordering, as the additional license is added to your team's CD Key of easyC PRO.

You can order from our online store (click the part numbers above for a link) or give us a call to process your credit card information.

Thanks!
Jessica
