Where to connect IR bored?
I was wondering, where do we connect the power and ground for the IR board?

Re: Where to connect IR bored?
The board can be powered by either the main 12v power, or you could wire it off of the backup battery.. From what I can gather, most people are running this thing off of a 20A breaker on their main breaker panel. You can see what folks said when I asked the same question at http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=63475

Re: Where to connect IR bored?
you can also use the digital in/out pins for power... does anyone know which pins in the pwm you would use for ground and power with this method? is it just red and black (expectable)
i really dont wanna risk reversing the polarity because aparently whoever designed the IR board knows nothing about diodes Last edited by Trav-O : 02-18-2008 at 10:14 AM. Reason: Clerification |
