our program compiles without error but when we try and use Get_Encoder_1_Count(), we get a programming state error. Anyone having similar problems or had similar problems and knows what im doing wrong?

Re: GTS confusion
Make sure you have followed the instructions in Kevin Watson's readme, assuming you are using that code. Usually the interrupts are not enabled in one of the headers. (Or does that just result in a returned 0 value...?) Either way, make sure the readme steps are followed.
