Re: pic: Team 1856

Is the whole robot going to be vertical like that?

If so, that's AWESOME.

Pneumatics in a nutshell: Put together an elaborate series of pipes, canisters, cylinders, valves and hoses; then fill that system with highly pressurized air, and hope that it doesn't blow up in your face.

Re: pic: Team 1856

Question, are you going to leave your control system mounted as shown? I can't tell from the pic if it's mounted so that it's on the inside panel facing inward or not (I am assuming that it is). Are you at all concerned about being hit from the side and knocking anything loose (nuts, bolts, etc.)? I know they say that it could take a fall from a six story building but they say a lot of stuff. Have you considered what would happen if the plexi is broken in the middle of a match? Other than those concerns I think it looks really great!!
