[FTC]: FTC Futures Forum at FTC World Championship

Quote:
To the FTC Community:

On Thursday night from 6:00 to 8:00 pm in room GWCC C203 (Georgia World Congress Center), Team Unlimited will moderate an open forum to discuss your ideas for future improvements and enhancements to the FTC program. The forum is part of the 2009 FIRST Robotics Conference, there is no charge for participation, and all interested parties (team members, mentors, etc) are urged to attend and contribute to the process!

We anticipate a spirited and positive session in which FTC teams can put forward their ideas for future improvements to the program. Discussion could range through desired new features for the Tetrix kit through the role of FTC in the FIRST program pantheon to the structure of the FTC challenge and season itself, and hopefully in unexpected directions. Please come prepared with your ideas (if you see a problem, bring your solution!) - we feel that the teams attending the World Championship include some of the most motivated and committed members of the FTC community, and their feedback and ideas will benefit the future of the FTC.

In addition, we know that just as many great ideas for the program can originate from teams that will not be present in Atlanta this season - your ideas sent via email to syraweb@comcast.net will be included, and compiled into the feedback to FIRST. The FTC program belongs to all of us - share your commitment and contribute your ideas!

We hope to see everyone there at the forum. This is a perfect oppertunity to voice your opinions over the future of the program. Remember, this is a free session, so you will not have to pay to attend this conference.

Please come with your ideas for the program, and be ready for a good discussion.

Regards,
~Team Unlimited, FTC #1
