FIRST Alumni attending Virginia Tech

Are there any FIRST Alumni on here that are attending Virginia Tech, attending a school nearby, or just live in the area?

I would like to try to start an Organization here at Virginia Tech, open to anyone and everyone that is a FIRST Alumni in the area, to help pool those Alumni together that want to meet other FIRST Alumni, help volunteer in Virginia or surrounding competitions at all FIRST levels (FLL, FTC, and FRC), or help mentor local teams and support the mission, vission, and growth of FIRST by helping Virginia FIRST with its events/activities.

If you are interested, send me an email at mobrien.1086@gmail.com and we will see what we can get going down here.

Please feel free to post here if you have any questions, comments, or suggestions.

Amble on over to the robotics lab at Tech and ask around. See if Robert Mayo (975) and Gabe Goldman are still around. They are a couple Richmond area veterans who have gone far.

Obviously you may want to get in contact with 401, the VT sponsored FRC team. I know of multiple alumni of NoVA teams attending VT, many of whom are not involved with 401, though.
