Battery problem in the championship

this is team #3083 from israel,
we can't take batteries from israel to st. louis, they can't be carried on an airplane... we were wondering if someone could lend us a few batteries during the championship, preferably new ones but anything would be great. please contact us if you can help.

A member of Team 1574 had already mentioned that you might need assistance with batteries in this thread. As I said there, our team will be bringing plenty of extra batteries with us, and even though we're on Archimedes this year, please feel free to stop on by our pit and we'd love to help you out. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to PM me.

Why can't you take your batteries with you? I already asked this in the other Israeli battery thread, but I didn't get a very coherent answer.
