Regional Twitter Accounts
Team Robokong (2493) created a network of Twitter Accounts to facilitate communication at the regionals and to broadcast match scores in near real time. Here is how it was done....
Regional Twitter accounts allow anyone to communicate via text messsage to anyone following the twitter account by simply sending an @REPLY message on Twitter. A service called Twittbot will retweet the reply through the appropriate twitter account.
In addition, match scores, standings, and award announcements will be broadcast for each regional through the Regional Twitter Account.
