Team 1127 Weigh-in

This is how we weigh our bot.

Materials:
1- 116 lb hardworking freshman
1- piece of spare portable-classroom ramp handrail
1- long piece of 2x4
1- tape measure
1- robot

1) Place the handrail under the 2x4 exactly at the middle mark.
2) Place the robot over one end of the 2x4.
3) Place the freshman onto the other end of the 2x4.

IF: The freshman's end of the 2x4 is touching the ground, the bot is <116lbs.

IF: The freshman's end of the 2x4 is off the ground, the bot is >116lbs.

Like I said-- my favorite/the most versatile tool is the freshman.

(Seriously, though, this is how we weighed our bot- for the first time- just before shipping.)
