They are pretty grippy. I've got some of that McMaster conveyor belt on hand and I think these tires are superior... But why would that matter, anyway?

Oh
like this

Ya that would be a really cool drive system.
But on that little scale model, I do not see anything that attaches to the wheels that actually powers them, so the wheels only can swivel, or something...But it looks really cool and if you can actually have that be your drive system for your robot, that would be amazing. It would most definitely be the coolest drive system of any robot this year.

Those would be the little rollers on the big wheel.
Its only a teaser now...Max can't let out too much.

oh by the way if you're gonna put down power on these wheels youd prolly want sum hard foams inside. these rubbers may be grippy but that means flexible and tearable. with a couple lego motors and much gearing and much weight and much rough concrete ground was easily enough to rip up these. trust me. they arent designed for much force. unless you're planning on using them as freewheeling omnis. ex) as a replacement for casters. then you prolly wanna have lotsa support under these. oh and lego plastic wheels would not work lol. lego tends to be very brittle when it could be a bit stronger. well if you want durablitiy i suppose knex is flexible enough to stand a bit more
