Yes, Look at this picture. He used a waterjet.

i am very surprised at how smoothly everything is going with this thing. it was blown out on Thursday. on Friday i brought the parts to The school and this morning my boys showed up with it on time with everything Filed down and prepped for welding. it all took about 7 hours to weld all of it. and we have a super strong unstoppable chassis now

i dont know why, but it reminds me of a submarine. Like the ones that go underwater, as opposed to the ones you eat.

Looks like you'll have an easier time climbing people's ramps with a slightly narrowed chassis, cool.

Looks awesome, may I ask what the vertical members are for?

If I was to guess, I would say... they are for ramps.

You are correct.

I too have been pleased with how fast things are coming together. The kids are capable and enthusiastic, and the team has been lucky to have access to a waterjet and the expertise of someone like Rich. Everyone has been putting in a lot of hours into this project (keep in mind that Tytus was still designing this only a week ago) and it is very cool to see those efforts come to fruition.
