Very nice guys, does the rollers on the very end of the arm/claw clamp down after grabbing a tube or does it free float?

Actually, there are no rollers. it is just a square bracket with pipe tubing around it and a piece of PVC to keep it from grabbing the carpet! the claw, which is open in the picture, close down on the tubes. its i very snugg fit!
