1072 almost done

It's been tough but we're a bit ahead of schedule and started testing our bot today Just cleaning up the room in this pic after a long day of work.

The grabber isn't completely done, so I won't tell you how it works yet.

I believe those may be igus linear bearings (anodized aluminum) but I'm not quite sure since this was built the year before I came.

Yeah, they're Igus Drylin rails. The tetra grabbing mechanism is still intact but I photoshopped it out for the sake of this pic =P

This bot is from my freshman year...good times

You may have to redesign the robot, but COTS are the only thing you can salvage (if they meet current rules). As most of the robot is a fabricated item or collection thereof...

Also a note to design... you may want to shift some more of he weight to the back to make sure it wont become to top heavy and fall over... especially if your going for the ball in autonomous period since the robots in autonomous mode can hit you and knock you over.
