What could this possibly be used for? Maybe a flywheel for our external combustion engine?

Quit trying to trick the alumni! Seriously, its good 766 finally made custom wheels, its been on the team wish list since i was a Junior way back in 2004!

Kevin, I have no idea what you're talking about. We're using mechanum wheels for the drive train, remember? This is the flywheel from the miniature onboard internal combustion engine. It's going to power each mechanum wheel individually through drive shafts, crown gears, and four continuously-variable/reversible transmissions.

This will be used to lift an elevator. Hence the two holes.

Did you make it on the CNC machine at the Tech Shop?

im sorry to say in is not used in the elevator (which we are building).

We had these made at a mentor's work because we had to make 16 of these (12 and 4 backups) so we decided not to tie up the Tech shop's machines. we did however mill our drive train frame members there.
