1098: Back To The Future

For fun in Oklahoma we changed it up with the car bodys, 1098 is now sporting both a Ferrari Testarossa and Back To The Future Delorean, complete with glowing flux capacitor, and rear discharge cooling vents.

Btw, 1.21 gigawatt batteries are approved, and in the weight limit

A robot going 88 MPH on the field? That would be quite a feat . . .

i like the rollers on the sides. i presume its so that you can drive against a wall easily without getting hung up. that's a great idea, we used to do it all the time for FLL.

We robotics nerds have made loads of Back to the Future references and "what if"s about meshing it with robots. . . now it has come to pass. EPIC.
"You made a robot?! . . . out of a DOLOREAN?!"

Not to be a stickler, but is that the glowing flux capacitor you can see in the windshield? because it looks to be shaped like this /. When in the movie it's shaped more like Y.

Do you have any pictures of it with the ferrari cover? I want to set it as my wallpaper.

By the way, Ken and Beau (your "super fans") will gladly make a Speed Racer cover for your robot, with speed racer's head in the window and everything.

Nice job guys. What about one of the ultimate robot cars. KITT. Just please do it up old school with a black Trans-Am instead of the new mustang. A Knight Rider theme would be really sweet. Expecially if you got the sweeping LEDS working properly....

This was a fun robot that didn't look like a robot! But you can tell from the numerous dents in the hood that it loved to smash into the wall, the other robots, and well pretty much everything!

It's a good thing that you didn't get hustled by security for bringing plutonium into the venue.... BTW.. I am sure that Doc Brown and Marty McFly would be thrilled to see that...
