This is a redesign of 229's worm gear box used this past season. Total weight just under 10 pounds (same as original). 1200:1 reduction from two FP motors. This was originally designed for the team's shoulder joint. We decided we needed the mechanical advantage of a worm gear. This particular gearbox is designed for a 56 inch moment arm. A white paper on the design should follow in the future.
