This is the front intake system. The front roller is 1.5" pvc pipe with the pneumatic tubing hot glued in place. The second roller is made of two traction wheels originally used on our 2007 bot. Their main purpose is to center the ball before it goes up the elevator.
The front roller is directly attached to the keyang motor, and then #25 chain in the middle to connect the two rollers. Both rollers have the same surface speed which helps too. It's not very fast though.
