Me Winning Woodie Flowers

It was special to receive this award with 3 Championship Woodie Flowers Award winners present. I'm still speechless. We have a great bunch of kids on our team this year, this award is as much theirs as it is mine. Thank you, guys... Thank you.

A well deserved award, Jon.

I bet you'll be a CMP WFA award winner in the very near future

Hey Jon, I didn't get a chance to speak with you, but I did get to spend a lot of time talking to your team's students and other mentors. I was blown away by the knowledge your students posses and how eloquently they described machine features. I'm sorry I don't remember the name of the tall mentor who was in your pit, but he was awesome to talk to. I've been a fan of your team and robots since you started and I was not disappointed by what i saw this year, quite possibly your best machine ever.

One thing both myself and that mentor I spoke to were disappointed in was the lack of carbon fiber or titanium on this year's robot.

Great robot, great season, great team. Best of luck in the off-season.
