I was sitting next to a rookie parent who had never experienced the Championship before. We could see these from where we were sitting and the dad made puns about cheese the whole day. They were horrible awful bad puns and I loved every single one of them.

Heh, FIRST seems to bring out the worst in puns. I mean just look at our team name. *eyeroll*

The cheeseheads are really fun to wear. It makes our team stand out (well, with 1086 too I guess ^_^) and they double as pretty much the best cushions and pillows ever.

Speaking of bad puns, someone on our team once said, "I guess it was love at first (FIRST) robot." It was so bad that a girl fell on the floor laughing and their English teacher came and stared at her all curled up on the floor. She looks up and he says, "Are you ok?" and she just starts laughing again. It was one of those, it's so stupid it's funny moments.

Sadly neither of our teams qualified, so that was impossible.

Of course it's up to us and Blue Cheese to make top tier robots next year so if we both end up on Newton again the planets might align

Now if only there was a third team for a Full Cheese Alliance...

Probably not me (unless I can shift break time perfectly and work as a scoting / strategy mentor like our previous strategist), but our team had so much fun in 10,000 Lakes I imagine we'll decide to go back.

I must say 11-11-1 is an awesomely cool record
