
The Vex Robotics World Championship is a gathering of top robotics teams from around the world to celebrate their accomplishments and compete with/against the best of the best. The 2008 Vex Robotics World Championship event will include champion teams from various Vex Robotics based competitions: Vex Robotics Bridge Battle Champions, WPI Savage Soccer Vex Robotics Champions, FIRST Tech Challenge Quad Quandary Vex Robotics Champions and other Vex Robotics teams from around the world. A waiting list will be created for teams interested in participating who may not have qualified at a Vex Robotics based competition. When qualified teams are unable to attend and spot open up, teams on the waitlist will be notified. To get on the waiting list,

Schedule:
May 1 - Thursday 3:00-8:00pm: teams will be allowed to drop off robots, set up pit area, start inspection and use the practice fields if they wish
May 2 - Friday 7:30am doors open: Robot inspection and practice matches in the morning. Qualifying matches the rest of the day
May 3 - Saturday 7:30am: Qualifying matches in the morning. Alliance selection at 1:00pm. Playoffs begin at 2:00pm.
Awards ceremony following playoffs
Team party (including dinner) after awards ceremony from 5:00-9:00pm
