The 2008 FIRST Tech Challenge game will be announced to the public on Saturday, September 13th through the FIRST FTC website around 5:00 PM ET. However, you can find out about the game earlier that day. The Georgia FTC Planning Committee and Pace Academy cordially invites all Georgia teams to attend a live FTC Kickoff event on September 13th at 2:00 PM. We will be showing videos from FIRST VIPs, the game animation, and handing out copies of the game manual. We will also have portions of this year's field set up for you to walk around and get familiar with before you start to build your robots or your own practice fields.

Maps to Paces Academy can be found online at http://www.paceacademy.org/page.cfm?p=1675. We will be meeting in Knights Hall, part of the Middle School on the 5th floor.

Please RSVP to me by 9/9 so we can prepare your team's materials. Let me know how many members of your team will attend the Kickoff.
