Activating labview

It's a little embarrassing to have to ask for help with this but I can't get labview activated. I start any of the applications and it asks "Automatically activate through a secure internet connection." Then I put in the code that's on the cardboard NI envelope. It tries to activate then comes up with "The following serial numbers are invalid....."

Am I missing something?

I had the same issue. I ended up calling the number it gave me after a few failed attempts. I told the guy I was calling from FIRST Team 23, gave him my serial and Unique Computer ID (Listed on the page which directs you to call them after a few failed attempts), and he gave me an activation serial no questions asked.
