I know that you can only extend a Max 14 inches outside the robot but I have a more specific question. Ourpossible shooter is currently being drawn to rotate 180degrees 90 each way. When turned all the way it extends 7 inches outside one way but 1 inch on the other side. Is this legal? It is all the same thing but it would go outside the frame on two sides

G21:
Robots may extend one appendage up to 14 in. beyond a single edge of their frame perimeter at any time.
Violation: Foul for exceeding size allotments; Technical-Foul for continuous or repeated violations.
Emphasis mine. If your mechanism is extending beyond multiple edges of your frame, it is not legal.

From what I have read this would not be legal due to the fact that you are extending beyond the frame perimeter on two sides of your robot simultaneously. According to rule G21: "Robots may extend one appendage up to 14 in. beyond a single edge of their frame perimeter at any time."
